Pet Bobcat?

Post by Jbravo »

Can anyone tell me about them as pets? I want a companion for my kooky, and I came across someone giving away bobcat kittens. How big do they get? Will they look at my other kitty as prey? Is it a bad idea to have one as an indoor cat. Any info would be great.

just a personal opinion, but an indoor bobcat doesnt sound like a way to go for you or the bobcat.

im sure you can find some websites from a google search on domesticating them, but (again just personal opinion and i hope others chime in) if you going to investigate, prepare and eventually make the move to accept the responsibility of such an animal, i would recommend an outdoor sanctuary of some kind...unless of course you live in a mansion :king:.

Well, I have had two in my life.... The first we named Salem. The one we have now is named Erie. By the way, you will love having a manx. They are such great cats.
Lifes a gift... Remember to say thank you.
