these sites are good and whenthey work they are great but all vets in my area (8 in the emergency group) would, one saturday a month in the summer, hold a rabies clinic and vaccinate for free, albeit the SPCA would supply the vaccine but we would spend the time...i have sitting on my new wall a plaque stating that i was "the veterinarian of the year" for 1994 for spaying the most number of strays etc that could be picked up---no charge---this was for cats...in fact, i t6hink my kennel people. who would pick up the cats picked up pets, probably from little old ladies asleep on their porches with their cat on their lap and then they would wake up amd wpomder why their pets were belly-shaved....have opened up many that had already be spayed,,,,,my point is that lots of vets do do freebie work and i guess these sites will help pay for that work but i never saw any of it
