My Foster Chihuahua is leaving

Post by Nancy (Spuddie' s Mum) »

My foster Smokey has finally found his forever home. He has been with us since the first of November and he will be leaving on Sunday (providing the home checks out but it sounds great), he will be staying there. They are really nice people and the lady came to see him last night and meet him and us. We all really liked her and I think she's going to work out fine. It's going to be hard to say good bye to him, but I am glad he will finally be the only dog and the centre of attention, which is all he really wants out of life! (LOL, don't we all).

How wonderful for Smokey! He sure is a cutie in that photo. I'm glad he found a good home.

Seeing him in that picture makes me want to adopt him, too!

Please feel free to submit an application if you live in TN, his new home didn't check out. Once the lady realised I was going to do a home check before leaving him, I got an email from her telling me that her fence was not the best and that she was going to keep him on a leash. Poor Smokey would never do well on a leash, especially since I only just taught him to walk on one two months ago. He will revert back to his old potty issues if he can't run out to a yard and he has never known any different so it would be very difficult for him to go to a home with out a proper fence. Too bad, I did like her, but we have to do the best thing for Smokey.
