Bad Eyes Why does Jenny keep getting bad eyes?

Hello, My cat Jenny gets bad eyes regularly, about every month... yet its not in the same eye each time.
She slightly shuts her eye or shuts it completely. She licks her paw and trys cleaning it herself. We dampen a warm-ish cotton wool ball and gently wipe her eye. It seems to be Ok the next day but i dont know why
shes getting this and how can i help her please?

Please get her to your vet for a complete exam....you need to know if the cornea is scratched, or if there is a foreign body embedded or if there is some sort of infection present.
