Dreamer's Sick
Dreamer's Sick
For the past few days my cats right eye is really watery and she has trouble keeping it open. I am constantly removing green goo from it and she is in a lot of pain. The doctor gave me a triple antibiotic ointment for it but it doesn't seem to be helping. They put drops in her eye to check if it was scratched, but it wasn't. What else could be wrong with it? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much. I hate seeing her in pain.

Re: Dreamer's Sick
I think I'd take her back to the vet...or to another vet for a second opinion...sounds like a respiratory infection or possibly an infection in the eyes...I'd think she would need oral antibiotics to help overcome this. Our khanada was suffering from the watery eyes lately, no green stuff...but when the ointment didn't help the vet put her on antibiotics and colostrum..her eyes are much better since!
