Jim, thank you so much for the update, I couldn't be more thrilled to hear the good news.

If this happened to be a toxicity, please thoroughly investigate your home for any potential risks (poisonous plants, rat poison or other rodenticides, chemicals, human meds, rancid food, etc...more info can be found on our Poisonous Plants/Household Hazards page ) ....and do be sure to followup as your vet advises. You might even want to recheck liver and kidney enzymes again, even after your next appointment (say in about 3 months or sooner of course if Max develops similar or any other signs of illness, no matter how slight)
