Here is Amanda 3 weeks after her TPLO surgery. She is doing well and you can see she is putting weight on her back right leg.
Look at her use her ramp.
I had to wait until after the snow so you wouldn't see all the poopsicles in the yard.

She is such a good girl, using her ramp - such a cutie - glad she is doing well.

Wow she really looks good!

Well, let's see.Amandasmom wrote:Here is Amanda 3 weeks after her TPLO surgery. She is doing well and you can see she is putting weight on her back right leg.
Amanda's bone seems...
to heal wonderfully!!! VBG
She is gorgeous! How can anybody not love a face like that? I'm sure that tail is actually wagging (swinging), too.
Moving my reply to your post up here. Seems Kevin has enough to do with your dad's (or is it really mom's?) stuff.
***One person responded and told me to go to the questions for new comers. I had been on that list for 4 years and this was my third TPLO surgery. I don't think I'm a new comer but they didn't recognize my name***
Maybe we should always hand out copies of our extremely detailed CVs first, before we open our mouths or start typing.
Guess what, I just happen to have a brand-new breed related example.
A well-known breeder I have been talking to at every BMD event (on average once every 6 weeks) for more than 4 years, the other day started to tell me about the breed's history, about this professor Himer, why we have to put up with drooling Bernese and that in Europe a hundred years ago they actually pulled carts with huge milk containers to the dairy.
I told him that I don't feel quite that old, but that I used to walk to the dairy with a Bernese when I was a kid, that I lived 50 meters from where Dr. Heim judged his famous show in 1910 and that I didn't know that the US Standard (which he always brags to follow) had changed in regards to BMDs being a drymouthed breed.
I don't think I have ever seen a grown man blush before, but I'm pretty sure that he will remember me now, even though I'm just a pet owner with a less than memorable face. LOL
*** type like my father***
Davet is one of the reasons why I followed everyone over here. Love his common sense and his humor!
And the fact that his spelling isn't exactly perfect sometimes, makes me feel much less self-conscious about my English.
*** like this board because I get lots of helpful advice and fine quality art.***
Absolutely!
But I'm still trying to get one of Kevin's masterpieces into the Sydney Opera House Gallery.
Give that sweet girl of yours an extra cuddle from me.

I knew you would pick up on the tail. She is getting very bored and wants to play. I have to check the 4 week rehab to see what we are allowed to do. I've been letting her lay in the snow, she loves that. She wants to play with her brother Pete. I know that's not allowed.I'm sure that tail is actually wagging (swinging),
Darn, I just checked the rehab schedule and we can't do anything until the follow up x-rays. Sorry Amanda, you are stuck on a short leash.
