Athena is chasing bunnies.

Athena wants everyone to know there are sooooo many bunnies to chase in Paradise Valley she thinks she is in heaven. Some front yards on her street have 8 to 12 just sitting like little bunny statues until Athen cames along.

Please tell her I like bunnies, and she needs to leave them alone - poor things, she might give them a heart attack!

Mr. Blue says this sounds like lots of fun!! With the horrid weather here (and, truthfully, even without it!), he would love to come help her hunt them!

I like bunnies too. Athena is not allowed off leash in Paradise Valley because she is so focused on chasing she runs across streets. It would be all over if a car came along. She has a huge yard with bunnies under the bushes. I am afraid Athena will have a heart attack chasing the bunnies. She lets out a squeal and runs like crazy.

Love Athena's little squeal thingy...maybe that will give them a headstart.

Honey loves to chase them, too. She is so funny- sometimes when they freeze like a statue she has actually trotted by them unknowingly. What a hoot! I trained her now that when she chases them and gets close I yell at her to "take it easy" and she kinda slows a little and lets them go. I think she is up more for the sport anyway. And since the bunnies keep coming back into a fenced yard..they must not be too scared of her..
