Strange...
The fur on the back of my cat's ears are missing in patches. Any ideas on what this might be?

Can't say but I'd take him in to the vet to have it checked out before it gets any worse. It could be any of a number of kinds of skin ailments, parasites, etc, only your vet can tell. Usually these type of things are easier to treat if you catch them early.

Please do have your kitty seen by your vet on this. There are many causes for alopecia such as ringworm or other fungal or bacterial infections, allergies, hormonal idsorders to name a few.
