I was so worried about getting my kittens their first shots but all went very well. The vet was super friendly and fell in love with my little boy Huggs because of his himalyan soft fur. When she was checking his eyes, he looked up at me and gave me the "Help me mommy" look- I swear! The vet was suprised both didn't flinch while getting their shots. They each got their 4 in 1 FVRCP, and a dewormer. The vet asked me about them going outside at all and i told her they were and will strictly be only indoor kitties. She didn't suggest that I get them the feline leukemia shot. However, I have to go back in 3 weeks for their rabies and follow up boosters. Other than that, I wanted everyone to know that it went smoothly. It's really not as bad as you think it will be. Well than i thought it would be.
Awwww...poor mommy! When my kitten got her shots she just slept & slept. But other than than she was fine. Good luck with the neutering/spaying. I was a nervous wreck but it's really pretty routine. Lots of love always seems to do the trick, doesn't it?
Oh they have been sleeping alright! They are such dolls! It's funny how they seem to both have the same reaction which is good. Both are very sleepy. Huggs got very grumpy everytime i moved in bed (they sleep with me) He kept letting out this grumpy sounding MEOW to tell me Stop waking me up! Hehehe....
