Kitten hiccups

HI everyone i'm so pleased to have somewhere to ask questions about our furry friends. I have an 8 mth old kitten called Daisy she is a long haired tabby and she is very beautiful

Well I have a question. My kitten seems to have hiccups. After eating she sometimes sits and her little body jumps. Do you think it is hiccups? I know it seems to be a silly question

but I haven't had a kitten before just an older cat.

Yes, kitties can have hiccups, Daisy may be eating her food too fast, try feeding in smaller portions more often.
