Honey should be safe, but I would make contact with your vet, and compare the ingredients to be sure. Prilosec can actually be used for dogs for gastric ulcer treatment, at 20mg, but again, call your vet and verify Honey's weight.

If any vomiting or lethargy, don't hesitate to contact an ER vet immediately....but watch her closely tonite and call your vet in a.m.

Thanks, Traci...she is fine. Appreciate your answer. I did call er and vet as you suggested. The reason I made mistake is that they changed the label on my Prilosec (now generic) and the bottle looked so much like hers - plus same white capsule...gee...did I feel terrible. But they thought it was funny at work, but would have been funnier if I took HER pill!
(I now put PRILOSEC label on my bottle!)

Glad it's okay. This scared me very much at first because I get some of these new meds mixed up... like Prilosec with Pravacol  and thought Honey had imbibed the latter.

I am forever getting distracted/absent minded in daily routines [would be real worried about it at my age except I have always been like that.] The other day I pulled a good one which could have effected my pets indirectly... I usually have a half liter bottle of spring water to my left here on the computer table, but hadn't brought a new bottle upstairs. Dumblike, I then set a bottle of Isopropyl alcohol in that spot... some time later, sat down to boot up the Mac... automatically, with eyes on the screen, grabbed the plastic bottle, uncapped it and took a swig........ yaaack! Fortunately it was a sip not a big swallow like I normally have, so none of it went down my throat... Thus, like with you, new rule: Never place nonpotables where the potables are supposed to be!

It's a complicated world we live in these days, isn't it? Greetings to Honey - she looks so sweet playing in the snow!

I totally understand about the meds. Mikey gets meds three times a day and different things on different days. I have a notebook with daily charts for him and put a big black initial on each of his liquid med bottles because the writing it so small it is hard to see at his 11-12 pm medication when I don't have contacts in.

Dear E's and JMM..glad I'm not alone in this...I even keep her meds and mine separate. But now- I put big easier to read labels on bottles. Glad you didn't really drink the Iso., E's.
Hope Mikey is doing well.
