Some pics....

Post by TheSkeptic »

This is Blackie all cleaned up and dipped. (The owner kept him inside, but he was obviously kept outside before being brought to the shelter. He was filthy and full of ticks and fleas.) The picture on the petfinder site is from when he arrived at the shelter.

Here he is all cleaned and ready to be delivered to the rescue.

This is the lady who took him, with her little Ginger. He almost looks like Mr. Winkie.

Here is a close up of Ginger. What a doll. When we first saw him, we thought he was a stuffed doll.

Lastly here is a pic of Apache, Bernie, Mr. Dawg, Inky and Dottie "watching TV" with Cheryl. Bernie and Apache are usually glued to me, but that night they were being a Bennedict and Beatrice Arnold.

Nice pics! I see you were at Elmwood [non Louisiana folks: in the background, that's part of the eastern end of the famous old Huey P. Long Bridge over the Mississippi.] I go out there quite often but get sad because I'm afraid to try taking my moose into the PetSmart... they keep saying it would be okay, but they don't know this hyper, rambunctious pill of a dog...

I am glad to see your Dals here again - had been somewhat concerned, as they weren't in a recent shot of the backyard crew.

Blackie and Ginger are going to be a fine pair of pets, I think.... please update us if possible.

I thought I posted something a couple of days ago - guess I hit the wrong button!

Ginger is absolutely adorable. She does indeed look like a stuffed toy. Is she a pom?

The dogs look quite comfortable, but I'm not sure Cheryl feels the same way. I'd be afraid to move if it were me. That is one way to keep warm during a nasty cold spell though!
