What a lovely thought.
Can anyone explain to me why puppy mills are still legal anywhere? Why won't at least one senator or congressman champion a law that prevents them? I know we don't allow "mills" here in Florida, but I suspect some of the BYBs are just as bad. A couple of the pet shops here only sell 'local puppies' (I suspect BYB's), but the chains all get them from Kansas and Missouri mills.

They were founded and run by the USDA to help Farmers make ends meet during the depression. The USDA is more concerned with farmers making money and surviving than the treatment of the animals.
