far more important to get the idea across as though you were giving a speech or s sit of instructions. I e when some one is giving advise or askin advise or givine a wspeech or any form of verbal commmunication, you don;t ask if he is spelling the word correctly while he is speaking.....it is more important to understand what that person is saying than if he/she is spelling the words correct.....we fear not that onomtapoeia is not greatly regardes as the esssence of speech..am i not correct???

uncorrected for errors.

My Dad couldn't spell, and I we just laughed at him. He spelled a lot of things as they sounded, and as a result would beat my Mom at Scrabble and Upwords everytime! He'd come up with words that looked like a word to him, Mom would say no way, they'd look it up-and sure enough, it was a word! That is pretty smart to me...
