HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AUNTI DEBBIE !!!

Post by C-Team »

Ten things we did to celebrate your birthday:

1. Couldn't muster up sufficient birthday jingle if all nine lives depended on it!

2. We left some teeth and claw marks all over your now-empty bottle of Prozac. (probably better check your nyquil stash too)

3. We licked your birthday cake, then licked our paws clean, and washed them in the sink again and again and again.

4. We got you a new Garfield, but it laughed like Marmaduke so we shredded him.

5. We rode in your in your car and parked it at Wallyworld with the lights on.

6. We built a shrine to Andrew Lloyd Webber entirely out of empty "9-Lives" cans.

7. We made an attempt on the "First Cat", Sock's, life in a pathetic attempt to impress Jodie Foster.

8. We put on our sunglasses and shot your big-screen TV with a .45
Magnum when it showed cartoon depictions of stupid or lazy felines.

9. Your stereo is missing, and in the corner you'll find a pawn ticket for two kilos of catnip.

10. We spent all day in the litter box separating the green chlorophyll granules from the plain white ones.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AUNTI DEBBIE, WE LUV YOU !!

Thanks guys! Sounds like you were in kahoots with my two...loved the bit about the TV.

I also loved the Pooh globe!

So far my day has been okay. worked this morning at the vets and thanks to someones over eager to get back to Daddy's dog, I had to go out and buy a new watch. He dragged me from the back over to Daddy and clipped my wrist on a corner of something and off flew my watch...broke the band right off. Wish he's just bit me...would have been cheaper!
So far the cats haven't given my anything, but the day's not over. Sals did let me sleep in this morning, but still I had to get up to go the the vet jub...only got to sleep in 1/2 hour. She meant well.
Kitty kisses,
Debbie

A tip for the Birthday Girl...get a cheap (waterproof is essential) watch, I mean really really cheap, then when it breaks (and you will break many), you won't feel so bad cuz it was so cheap anyway. (can't tell you how many nice ones I ruined at work)

Sals and Razz are probably laying in wait, look out Mom

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

LOL!..It was a cheapo watch...still 18 bucks is 18 bucks...the idea of a second job is to acquire money...not spend! I did buy, inaddition to the watch, a new watchband. Hope it's the right size and I hope I can figure out how to change it!
As for Sals & Razzeratz, I'm sure they have something up their sleeve. I'm just waiting.

I did sort of get a present on the vet job this morning. I got to give my first sub-q! I was really nervous about sticking that needle into that poor cat, but I did okay! So did the cat!
Kitty kisses,
Debbie

Dear Debbie,

Still whining I see. Did you miss me? (don't be shy, I know you did, just say it. I know you secretly pine over me.)

You know, birthdays are so over-rated. Blah Blah Blah.

Whine.

Surely, you understand it's only a reminder that you are closer to that big cyber milkyway in the sky.

And of course you are anticipating some big party and nothing happens...or you just get a dumb card (or a post from that silly Traci)....(I would wine and dine you if only you'd ask)

Whine.

Or people want to come over to YOUR house and reck YOUR furniture and annoy YOUR neighbors to celebrate YOUR closing in with that big cyber milkyway in the sky.

Or everyone wants to hear from you some advice from your OLD age like just becuase today is your birthday that the powers that be have supernaturally imparted man's lifes' solutions to you.....(I have a microsoft fix for that, if only you'd ask)

Whine.

Most cake sucks, I've only had a couple that I would want again.....(I would make you a lemon chiffon cake though, and put green flowers on it because I know forest green, lyme green and puke green are your favorite colors. Sigh, if only you'd ask)

And at the end of the day, what have you really learned about your birthday. About what it all really means. Well, case in point:

Whine.

Come away with me Debbie, I know you are still getting fatal errors on your computer. (Sigh, if only you'd ask)

Hi Bill,
Yes I certainly do miss you! I can't compete online with graphics and other great computer tricks since Traci, pictured below

Image

has taken away html and java from me. Image hosting sites don't even offer animated gifs anymmore.

and I'm not getting any younger as you know

Okay Bill, you say you have a microsoft fix for old age...bring it on. You say you'll take me away...let's go!
Kitty kisses,
Debbie

Thanks Lisa, Jason and Traci for the Birthday wishes. I must say that I loved Traci's graphic of the baby aging to an old lady, LOL!

Uh, that was my gift to you, Debbie, you see, Me, Bill, your adoring microsoft genius does have special connections that I use occasionally just for you. I sent your image to your local feds and they did a composite enhanced image of you.

(EEeekk) what happened, my darling, perhaps Calgon should be the one taking you away this time (had you only asked!)

Oops, sorry, where is my head. Yes, as soon as I finish my new project, I can take you anywhere you want to go. Not sure I can change your age (as evidenced in your recent photo), I don't think I promised that. Oh, I'm sorry again, where is my head. As a Mohican once said...I willlllllllll find you!
