At what age can a cat be declawed? My friend just got a little kitty and she wants to know. ( Please, no lecturing ).

pretty sure 12-16 weeks is the earliest and is recommended to be done in the first year. best if done when you spay/neuter since the cat is already under anesthesia.

as soon as your vet feels that the weight is sufficient to be safe with anesthesia, and it can be combined with neutering...
