We have most of the diagnosis.
Like Jonathan, Mikey had MVD with eosinophilic hepatic venule inflammation. Mikey's stomach biopsy also showed eosinophilic inflammation. Dr. Center is going to check on his intestinal biopsies as she didn't get results.
Mikey will start low dose of Dex every three says, Denosyl, and Vitamin E. Dr. Center was surprised his ALT was not elevated. These meds are in addition to what he is already on. Once he is stable, we'll try the tofu diet again.
Dr. Center said we can treat Mikey and make him better...that is the first time I have heard that in over 2 years. He won't be cured, but he will feel normal and we will know what to do and why when he doesn't. It is such a relief.

Thank goodness...that little pup just got to me when I saw that picture. Am so glad for you and Mikey! You must be relieved that it is treatable and that he will feel better.
