My new Kitten won't stop meowing and doesn't move around....

I just got a new kitten 4 days ago and she won't stop meowing and she never seems to move from whatever spot you put her and also won't eat unless I hold her or sit next to her....What could be wrong with her? Could she be depressed?? She is about 9 weeks old and came from an outdoor environment that had about 25-35 other cats. It is now in a strictly indoor environment and is the only pet but we give it tons of attention and it still doesn't seem to get any better.

I'd highly recommend taking her to the vet for a complete check up ASAP....especially if you haven't yet. Coming from an outdoor environment she could have any number of parasites or disease. Your vet can do a complete check and make sure she is physically OK. She could also be feeling seperation anxiety and fear if she was around other kittens before and now is alone, but find out if it's physical first.

from what you describe, i highly doubt its non-health related.
