Squid is my 7 year old tom, and he has just recently been treated for Feline Urinary Syndrome (FUS). He was 3.5 days in a hospital, and now 4 days after coming home, he is super lethargic, he won't eat, and what really is scaring me is that he won't drink. We moved him 7 states away from a home that he loved, which I am sure (it sickens me) might have brought on the FUS, and I know he's probably depressed. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions about what I should do. I have already spent over $1000 on the boy, and I am not sure how much I trust the vet that charged me that and gave me back a sick cat. I have already called him, and he has been cooperative, but not really helpful.
Please Help me if you know what recuperation is like for FUS, and if this sounds normal at all.

well, if you've had him home 4 days and he still refuses to eat or drink I'd have him back at the vet ASAP....sounds like he needs more aggressive treatment. What did your vet do to treat him? What did your vet advise you to do at home? Did your vet inform you of your cats condition and tell you if this would be normal?
if you don't trust this vet find another one and get a second opinion. Moving can definitely cause stress for a cat, but don't be too hard on yourself, sometimes we have to do what we have to do.

I'm assuming he was catheterized while being hospitalized, so if this were the case, you need to rule out concurrent bacterial infection. (yes, frequent catheterizations can induce bacterial infection)
Tina is correct, all the symptoms you mention warrant immediate veterinary attention ASAP, there could be yet another underlying problem that is going undetected/untreated. Lethargy and not eating/drinking are all red flags kitty needs to be re-evaluated, another urinalysis done, and possibly additional bloodwork to rule out other problems. See a new vet altogether if you're not happy with your current vet.
Don't wait on this, these are NOT the signs of a recovery.
