for anyone that knows about my problem with my grandas dog i am happy to say that my hard work is paying off and hopefully he will be moving in really soon!!
and because he hasnt realised that my house will be his house he isnt chasing the cats he just ignores them so hopefully he will keep doing that!!
at his own house a cat will never come anywhere near

Is your dog okay with him moving in??
Re: good news
i had a problem with the old english cross when i first got him (timmy) he was very jealous and very protective of me. now my 2 dogs get on really well and seem to have accepted my grandas border collie (jip) now all they have to do is figure out who is the boss amonst themselves so far my cat oscar is the boss ha ha !!!!
but my grandas stayed over last night and the 3 dogs where all curled up together this morning so hopefully this will continue!!
the cats are a wee bit nervous but there are cat flaps for them to escape if they want space

Re: good news
I'm so glad that everything has worked out. Herding dogs are very friendly and enjoy the company of both other dogs and people. I think if they can sleep all curled up together, the worst is definitely over. There will probably be a bit of tussling for top spot, but I'm sure the cats will make sure it doesn't get out of hand!

Re: good news
Good luck and check out the articles on pack dynamics I posted. I think they had some info on introducing new dogs into a pack.
