Have you tried consulting with an animal behaviourist?
It could be a problem that just isn't very apparent to you or me... And it could be something really simple that never even crossed your mind... Maybe one of those animal behaviorists can figure out what it is...

I agree on the behavioral issue . Maybe she wants total attention from you.

I would find it hard to declaw a 7 year old cat, would likely be very traumatic on her. Perhaps you could use Soft Paws as an alternative.

Do you have plenty of scratching posts or a cat tree for her to claw and climb on.
