Oozing Eye

My cat's right eye has been oozing. It is usually clear residue but I've also noticed a brownish colored goo. Sometimes she will close that eye. She also has a black splotch at the bottom of that eye. I know she needs to be checked by a vet but I would like some ideas of what it might be, thanks.

If this has gone on longer than two days, get kitty to your vet immediately...he's the only one who can tell you what is wrong.

Eye problems must be taken seriously, please don't wait on this, get your kitty seen ASAP.
