Lol!!

Chloe has so much energy!! Not like Honeybun was at all.

She runs like crazy and I caught her jumping up on my silk tree the other day.

She is so funny and loveable. She screeches, trills and makes lots of sounds at you. She announces herself when entering a room too.

What a joy!! and a lot of work too

I forgot to add, these childproof serivces, they cover all the windows too. So every window has like a tiny ledge, the covers go out a bit because all the windows here have shutters. The cats had ledges in each window and of course each balcony was totally safe. I will definately call this service when we find our new house. Sara

Here is a link to some iron window guards.

http://www.ariron.com/window_guards.htm

I could have some nice custom French style window, balcony and door guards made. Something small enough for the cats not to get through and with some sort of a release in case of fire. Maybe in iron? I want it to look nice and pretty, not like a prison, lol.

At any rate it would be a luxury to not have to ever worry about doors and windows and to be able to have them all open. I was also thinking of having a list of how many cats were in the house posted on the door in case of fire or emergency. Something nicely done. On the fridge I have the vet and ER #'s posted as well as emergency family contacts. Am I forgetting anything? I want to make my next house very cat safe and comfortable. Fire safe too.

I did not save any of the links but if you look up window protectors, door protectors or child proofing you will come up with some. They are originally built as safety devices or as child proofing devices for people who don't live on bottom floors. There is cheaper, not as attractive wiring and then you have the more custom expensive wiring. Well it's not really wiring but a metal mesh sort of thing. They can wrap it all the way around a baclony, top side, everything to make it escape proof. They do the windows too. It's such a luxury. Since I live in Argentina I could not refer anybody to you. I will start looking when I find a house.
