my cat poops on...ME

recently when i hold my cat snickers he has left poop stains on my shirt...and today and was brownish/yellow.... :( :cry: :?: :x :? what could it be...he is 12 years old but in good health please help so i dont have to make him wear a diaper :lol: :D :o

are you sure this poopy srtain is not from tha anal glands..it does not sound like the normal poopy stuff...might ge the anal glands checked

why would like brown stuff that looks and smells like poop come out of a gland? is it normal?? and if it is the glands is he doing it on purpose :?

Dogs have their anal glands expressed when they are groomed. Cats have them too. I don't think they can control them voluntarily. I'm not quite sure what they are for, but I DO know they can become infected/impacted and painful. I would take a trip to the vet to be sure he doesn't have an infection.

the anal glands are actually glands that contain a pheremone, or *beep* hormones---with an odor like that i wonder who or what would get attracted..but they cab exoress then ib theur own but if they become infected or impacted they wil dribble the smelly contents out....would be best to get them checked out

It sounds like anal glands, and they need expressing. An infection can occur if they are not emptying. More fiber in the cat's diet can help this from being a problem. Plain canned pumpkin mixed in wet food is very good.
