i guess you can be tired of my saying how good mother nature is,,,if i had tried to sew this whole thing up in the beginning you wauld have drainage out the Wazoo for a long period. What you have witnessed is natures way of allowing animals and people to survive...ie grtanulation , migration or healing by second intention what ever you want to call it, it works..
you may have some drainage for a while from that last little opening but that will be easy to controll with daily cleanings...may not happen but don't be surprised if it takes a little longer to close....
like your saying about thinking like a mouse...pretty good

Yeah...we were quite pelased with the way things were coming until the vet found those two sores....
you can read about it herehttp://www.cathelp-online.com/phpBB2/vi ... php?t=2288

It's pretty worrying...
We're really worried it might not be something that's curable...
 poor little baby....

Hey there Davet,

As you can see, the wound is pretty much completely closed... There was a little hole like you said for a while but that has closed up now... I can't believe it hasn't even really left a scar...

Sorry about the delay ... It's just that it's getting harder to photograph the wound... i had to sneak the last one while she was asleep...

Apart from thanking the grandness of nature, thanks for being so supportive everyone... And also, a BIG Thank You to our vet Dr. Yeoh and the other vets at his surgery who saw us through the worst it....

:D
