I was just wondering if cat's see in color, and do they see things better close or far away?
Thanks,

Re: How do cat's see?
an interesting sidelight . when cats are stalking a prey, or being stationary to allow the prey to walk within range, they are almost totally oblivious to external stimuli, ie sounds, motions etc..when they are in a stalk, you can hollar all you want but the sound is completly blocked out, within reason or course..i saw this often with my own cats, they would be sneaking up on a bird and i could hollar all i wanted and they would ignore me...Of course our last cat (20 years old) ignored me anyway cause she was deaf....
