oopsie, sorry for those minor typos. My emotional temperature has been quite high this week, and my spell checker has taken a plunge.

Indoor cat desperate to be outdoor cat
Re: Indoor cat desperate to be outdoor cat
Hi Catniper, I did read the thread and I'm so sorry to hear of all the misery you and your cat have been through. I so hope she pulls through and regains her strength. I hope you can post an update soon. Who knows where she got the illness, but I do consider exposure to contagious illness a reason to keep my sweet Neo indoors, even though he hates it. (And I hope he doesn't hate ME for it. I don't know how much he understands my role in his inability to go out. Does he just hate the doors and windows, or does he understand that I'm the one who really keeps him in?).
I can certainly understand how you decided to let your cat go out, because they can be insistent and heartbreaking in their desire to go out. Maybe when your cat gets well she can learn to go out on a leash, as a compromise, as I'm hoping to do with my guy.
Good luck with your poor sweetie. I am hoping for the best for you and her.
