coxcidia

What is coxcidia? A litter of 5 at 9 wks old was told it was coxicdia. They had diarrhea and they smelled.. Treated and it seem to go away. I kept 1 kitten is now 6 mos. old. Bowels are loose and smelly. How to treat, or should I see a vet? Could this be coxcidia? What is coxcidia?

coccidia are tiny microscopic parasite of the intestinal tract...i am not sure what you treated them with but it is really a medical problem...i would get them checked and treated by a vet...they may require more than one treatment but if let go they can be devistating....no simple answer...
