Sammy also pants after chasing his sister my vet said not to wory about it unless it lasts for an extended amount of time. As for the snoring if it's a new thing I'd have it checked but, some animals just like people snore. BTW I've discovered that you can call your vet about stuff like this and they'll give you advise over the phone, or tell you to come in if needed.

I'm a new mom to these kittens and I worry about everything. His panting doesn't continue past 30 seconds or so...and he checked out healthy from being neutered a couple of weeks ago. I guess I'll just get used to his snoring!!

I wouldn't risk this....even though it may not last past 30 seconds, if it happens frequently, this is not normal in a young kitten, nor is snoring (snoring usually occurs as they get older)
I would ask your vet to check out your kitten's heart function, chances are he is healthy, but you don't want a heart defect gone undetected, best to have peace of mind and rule this out.
