This is how it looks today, but we have not taken her to the vet to get it cleaned yet as it is still early, so there's a fair bit of ooozey stuff that has gathered along the lower lip of the wound that usually is not there.

Also, in the first picture, if you look to the upper right hand side of the wound you may notice that there is actually an area extending backwards that has not joined together... You can't see this in the second photo, but it has come forward a bit since the 9th of september and is slowly closing up too...

We are very pleased with how she is progressing!

pnly thing i can add is "ain't nature grand" this is what is known as gtanulation and either constricture, second intention or migration...suspect in about two weeks it will be all clossed off...might not look to great but i am sure your kittrn os not worried about appearances, probably worried more about where its next scratch or nose rub is coming from''''doing good

There's a very strict rule at our house that ALL tummies bearing fluff, ALL upturned noses, and ANY itchy bits belonging to those persons measuring less than one foot in height must be attended to as soon as possible by all beings over five feet tall regardless of what he or she may be doing at the given time... i'm so glad you all think she's doing well...

we'll be posting more updates soon!

This how it looks today, the 19th of September 2003.

The two holes at the side are getting a little less deep, but slowly... surely but slowly...

I can't understand why the pictures are not as clear as I'd like them to be....

curious, just how do you get her in that position for all of your shots? some tempting of sorts i imagine.

No problem... it's good for us tooas we sort of have a visual record of her healing... when you see it everyday you tend to take for granted just how much it has healed....

I sneak up behind her while she's eating  that's how come it's always pretty much the same picture... to outsmart a cat you have to think like a mouse... i just made that saying up...
