Mr. Blue needs to work on the idea of "compromise"

Post by Mary Plummer »

Hello everyone,

I've been home from work for a few days with an awful sinus infection. I went to the doctor yesterday, and was running a fever of 99.8, which he said was pretty high for an adult. He sent me home with antibiotics, and I think it's starting to help. I still feel a little headachy and tired, but a whole lot better; I think it's back to work for me tomorrow. I just took Mr. Blue out for a walk, and told him it had to be short because I wasn't feeling good. He thought the best thing to do was to try to pull me into a longer walk  I disagreed, and he ended up seeing things my way. It's a good thing I'm the one carrying the leash, I think! The mold has been really high here in Michigan, so I know that's what's doing this to me. I'd be fine if I didn't have to breathe! :D

We have the same problem here in NY. My daughter has been back at school a week and this morning she said her throat was scratchy and her nose is running.............!
Hope you feel better soon so you can give Mr. Blue the full walk he so deserves.
There's nothing quite like a day off to just hang out and pamper yourself.

No, allergies are no fun at all! jdf, hope your ear infection is getting better. I hate those things, and I really think we're too old to keep getting them. That should be a benefit of adulthood, I think! Shelby's Mom, hope your daughter is doing OK! My throat was sore and irritated a few days ago, but it seems to have settled all in the left side of my head. It's feeling a whole lot better than it was yesterday morning, just not 100% yet.

Well, I just got back from picking her up early from school. It seems she had a slight fever, sore throat and headache.
This will work it's way around the entire classroom and hopefully it'll be gone by October--when the next virus makes it's debut.

Thanks momPaws...he's been curling up and keeping me warm while I nap, which has been for a lot of the last couple of days. He woke me up from my naps only once. He came up and gave me a little kiss on my face. That's a great way to wake up, as far as I'm concerned :D

Aw. That's really kewt!... i'm doing the reverse for my kitty... i think we've clocked a huge amount of nap time together since she's been home.... The restorative powers of sleep always amaze me...
