Paw Puncture Wound

Post by Guest »

Hello,
This is my first time posting and I was wondering if anyone could help? My sister's guinea pig went wild and bit my 4 month old kitty's front paw. I panicked and poured peroxide then bactine on the puncture. There was a lot of blood but now it looks like it's dried up. She's not limping she just keeps licking her foot. Please let me know if there is anything I should do I can't get to the vet until wednesday.

Thanks in advance

Please watch for swelling and soak the paw in Betadine solution mixed with water, or if you cannot get Betadine use a mild soap and water mixture. I wonder if your vet can see you today instead?

Please post updates ok.
