Registration Error?

When I first came to this site, I registered, but I never received any confirmation in my in-box, so I tried to register again , and it said that my e-mail address was taken by another user, so I created a new e-mail account, and I have not received anything there either. When i tried to post a reply to my previous message (I need serious help.......), it said that the username "ashley" was already taken, so I had to type "ashley1". What's up with this? Can anyone help?

the account "ashley" was created but needs activation, i have sent a test mail to the email address you gave when you registered to see if there is a problem with your email address.

if you get the email, simply reply back (in email) requesting activation.
