MVD Maltese update

I got the name of a Dr. at Cornell to contact and my vet spoke with her this week. She is going to review Jonathan's path slides for free! How nice is that?!? She said his symptoms would not be from the MVD so she wouldn't treat it. There is another condition that often looks like MVD that she likes to treat with diet.

I think I may wait a month or two to do Mikey's surgery if he is stable. He's a bit higher risk as far as anesthesia goes and has to have more extensive surgery for other biopsies and possibly a cystotomy. If he's doing okay, my vet said no rush to cut him. He is just recovering from a bad episode anyways.
