hi i just want to know why my cat started clawing at my shirt now. He is 5yrs old and i thought that cats only did it when they were kittens??
If some one can tell me that would be great!!!!!

is your kitty getting enough attention from you without demanding it? has anything in his environment changed recently (even slightly)?

I have a three-year-old male that paws at my shirt. He does it when he is cold or tired. He wants to climb in my shirt with me. He loves to cuddle in there where it is warm. Could that be it? If he is he used to sleeping under the covers with you, he could just be trying to "get under the covers".
