I posted this on the cat health board not realizing that there was another board more suitable for pics.

Zola, have you checked with Imom.org? Also, ask your vet for information on other types of pet "funding" in your area, or from other vets. Our clinic has a "fund" like this, sometimes it is used for low-income folks, sometimes used for cases of animal abuse and neglect, i.e., doing an extensive life-saving surgery.

I would also ask your vet about referring you to a cardiologist or even a visiting one in your area, where you can make payment arrangements, or leave post-dated checks. There must be some sort of arrangement you can make either with your vet or a visiting cardiologist. Worth it to find out! In last case scenario, sell something of value or even take out a small signature loan with your bank, you could probably get a low interest rate and a long term pay-back option, just an option!
