Looking for opinions on a dog food - has anyone tried

Post by Mary Plummer »

Bil-Jac foods? I'm a firm believer in feed what works best for your pet, within the constraints of cost and availability. At the same time, I always like to hear the opinions of people whose knowledge of and love for dogs is such that I hold them in great respect - hey, like all of you here! :D The reason I'm asking is because there was a Bil-Jac representative at the pet supply store this afternoon. They're doing a taste challenge, and gave me a small pack of their adult dog food to try for Mr. Blue. He was a nice man who seemed pretty knowlegeable, so I took the sample. I thought I'd ask for opinions first, before trying it. Thanks!

each food. He seemed to inhale the Bil Jac right down. Of course, he inhaled his regular food too, so I don't know if that's any indication! I fully understand the weight thing; Mr. Blue's is all my fault, too
