First a note that what you are seeing is an improvement over what came into the shelter! -- Cheryl and Mona washed and treated him yesterday. His nails were so long that they curved back into his pads. He had a few isolated dirty, stinking matts of fur on his back, covering the sores they caused. One more pic of him when Karen got him.

Here are some pics Karen took when she got home.

As you give so shall you recieve they say. In this case I delivered the little dog to Karen and she delivered a Ferret to me. He is already nested in his new home. His new owner picked him up at 3:00 this afternoon.

Here are some older deliveries from last week. The Great dane came from somewhere else. The poor fellow was very skittish, but not snappy.

Here are the two I brought her.

Lastly, Ebony brought me another living present! I think this one is a sibling to the one a few weeks ago. (It died three days after I got it to the "Bird Lady.") This one was evaluated by the vet before the bird lady got it. No word on if it was saved or not.

that poor little one! It's hard to tell - is he a Yorkie? He looks like he'd be SO cold. I hope he's back to normal soon - he looks like he'd be a real cutie if only he had some hair. Cute ferret too!

That poor little guy.
I really have to hand it to Cheryl. You have posted so many photos of her and she's always smiling and hugging all the dogs. They must find it so hard to leave her when that time comes.

That is not Cheryl in the first pic, it is Karen. Cheryl is in the car door holding the pup while I take the picture. Believe you me, when I say that Cheryl is NOT always smiling....

I did wonder 'bout dem ears - but the face and what little hair he has left looked Yorkie. You know my hubbie wants a Papillion - if he does turn out to be one - tell me more, I might be interested.TheSkeptic wrote:I think the little guy is a Papillion. .... LOOK AT DEM EARS!!!!
