He will...just give him time. He'll stop...he'll go from cute little tiny newborn to sweet toddler kitten to a stubborn kitten who won't take "No" for the answers, to rebellious teenage kitten, then once he'll turn into adult, he'll stop and grow up as an adult but once in a while, he'll stay the same as always by playing and chasing after sumthin he sees or hears.
Give him hugs for me and rest of us....Max is a cute kitten.

Re: Biting Cat!
He just attacked me again!
I would like to add that the meeeowing in my face is NOT saying sorry... it is usually a few seconds before he attacks me again!
*pout*
He was relaxing and I was working here at my comp and he was licking my hand and then all of a sudden he starts clawing at me and biting.
I yelled NO! But he stood up and meowed in my face and kept clawing at me and biting me....
*sigh* No fun!
Oh.. and my thumb is bleeding.. and he is in the time out room AGAIN!

Squrrrl, be sure no area on him is "tender"; meaning, that it appears to cause him pain when you touch/feel. may way want to rule out the possibility that he trying to get your attention to something. keep an eye on litter box behavior.
i feel its just his "stage" in life that he is in, just want to be safe.

- remember to keep up on his discipline as quickly after he begins to bite like that as possible. keep a spare litter container and water bowl (or water source) available in the bathroom so you can leave him there for a long enough time to get the point (as mentioned before, 20-30 minutes...for him, probably 15-20 is adequete).
i would not suggest using discipline very often as his behavior is consistent with a normal kitty growing up and may induce too much stress if used at high frequencies.
one more suggestion: take the initiative (before he does) to play with him like with string attached to a toy or something. get some of that energy out continually with a fun but safe activity. its not a cure all to this, but may help. im sure another little kitten his age would alleviate alot of this. for you.

Hmmmmm...sounds like a worse stubborn boy. Jason is right...it's wise to have him check out by vet and see if he may has any pain somewhere if you touch his spot where it is hurt. OUCH..thumb bleeding, sorry, it's hurt, Squrrrl.

One other thing, just a tip......perhaps he is bored....be sure to provide for him interactive toys, a scratching post, a kitty perch, things that will entertain him or keep him busy, secure in his environment.
Jason outlined "time-outs" perfectly, I would NOT put him in a hot, confined room though as you tried, Squrrl, you can't take the risk of overheating, fever, etc......please use another room that is cooler, and only use time-outs for a few minutes at a time, eventually he will get the idea.
