I never intended something this soon....

my heart is still in so many pieces...but I know me, and Buffy will help to heal. She is almost 4 years old, from a good breeder.she just didn't have confidence in the show ring. She had one litter about 8 weeks ago, her first, had a C-section. Her litter brother was at Westminster in 2005. I have mulled this over for a week...I think she is coming to her home.

Oh, marty, she gorgeous! I'm so happy for you. My friend who shows Bassets had a female that color.

Follow your heart. I never intended to get another dog so soon after I lost Mickey, but I've fallen completely in love with Foxy. You won't be sorry. The heart is so enormous - the more you love, the more room for love you have!

she is gorgeous...makes me want to play with her ears...I love Bassett Ears...

I am sure Buffy will help you through your grief with Winnie...she will understand your heart and help you heal...they have an uncanny way of knowing when we hurt and wanting to make us feel better

Thanks everyone...we are looking forward to letting Buffy capture our hearts, as we know she will. The ears...what can I say...I'll play with them for you Tambrey...and clean them too!

I should hear all the details from the breeder on Monday (think she may have a show this weekend). I know there's paperwork to be signed, etc.

My sweet Winnie started all this Basset lovin' .... and I will always love her for it.
