The Old Gray Dog and other pics...

Before posting the promised pic of Prissy, our formerly black, now gray dog..... Here are some others..

The dogs woke me up clamering to go outside around 2:30 Evidently something was in the yard, probably some innocent kitty or other critter. They were determined to get it. At first they clustered around the Maple tree, then went dashing to the opposite corner of the yard, then dashed back to the Maple tree and back to the corner. During all this only the older dogs fulfilled their mission and came back in. The process of doing night duties is usually all done in less than two minutes, but last night it took them 15 minutes, by which time I was wide awake and had trouble getting back to sleep.

BTW The obligatory Ivory pic is in the above picture. You can see her rear half just below where the branch comes from the tree trunk on the left side.

All that activity last night didn't affect the puppers this morning. Here is a pic of Bernie and Pea Pod playing King of the Hill on the Dogloo, while Prince and Ebony play licky face just in front.

Undetered by her recent defeat, Pea Pod lends a helping paw to her mother in a tug of war contest with Ebony using a defunct Woobie.

Last but not least here is our old gray doggie, Prissy. Unlike the pups she was worn out by the late night activity and was snoozing when I woke her to take this picture. She couldn't possibly be thinking that if I don't leave her alone she will bite me do you?
