Hopefully Tiglet will have a new home

Post by Tambrey »

As you know...I foster kittens/cats and eventually want to get them to good homes, but my husband says I am too picky...

There was a request on Freecycle lastnight from a woman looking for a kitten...that is all she wrote, so I wrote her an e-mail asking why...where she lives...other household members...other critters...would she keep it inside or let it outside...and so forth...

She wrote back that it is her and her 15 year old son in a big old house and she has one kitten born Memorial Day and wants a playmate for her...she told me "unfortunately, I cannot let them go outside because I do not feel it is safe for them out there." WHOOO HOOOO...I wrote her back and said I would love to get my Tiglet and her kitten together to see how they get along...

Tiglet is very motherly and licks all the cats to death...and I think she would be a great playmate for this kitten that she has...

Sooooo...with her response about keeping inside, I know she cares for her one and will care for Tiglet too...I hope she is willing to take a 3 year old cat who is spayed and current on shots rather than a kitten...

It it doesn't work out with Tiglet, how about the feral kitten you are concerned about?

If I an catch her, that would be great!!...She is a beauty...I have seen her and have been watching her...she is jumping and moving fine, eating and going potty...so hopefully she just got rolled and bruised up a bit...

And there is another feral...still nursing...but her mom has brought her closer to the house and she is letting me pick her up each time I go out there...I make it a habit to go over there and pet Friendly Momma and let the baby see, and she does not run any more...
