Zero Odor report

Post by Marty »

I have mixed feelings about it...as far as removing stains, it did as promised and was easy to do. Spray and wipe with a wet sponge (even on old stains). As far as removing odor, I'm not sure. My carpet is pretty plush and so is the padding. Maybe if I had dumped it on instead of using the spray bottle, it would have been effective, but very expensive. It may work for hardwood floors, though.

On another board, someone suggested OdoBan...it is made in our town (gosh, we're famous).

Years ago, I bought some at Sam's Club when the company was just starting out, and it was experimental...think I still have some in the closet. I didn't use too much of it, as seemed to be a strong, flowery scent. Maybe they have changed it, as they have expanded their product line. It is sold in select Walmarts. Anyone tried that?

I've got it. It works better than most of the other stuff I've tried, but I don't like the smell (it's a bit weird - it doesn't last though). It seems to work until I clean the carpet, then whatever is in the padding is released again, so I started adding it to the carpet cleaning solution. It stops the odor, but doesn't do a thing for stains. I use OxyClean for those, and it seems to work.
