Smart, Smart Animals!

Post by Umesh »

OM!

I have always been a "talker" to animals (talking to them like I do to humans). I've had lots of cats who meow back at times. Recently while visiting a friend and saying hi to her cats, her cat Gray looked at me, pointed his nose towards the sofa and said "meow." He did that a couple of times in a few seconds with a bit of tossing of his head! I knew what he meant. I got on the sofa and he immediately jumped on my lap. The next time I visited he did the same excepting he pointed towards the bed. My friend said that earlier that day she had brushed Gray on the bed and the brush was still there. So I went over there and Gray jumped on and I gave him a brushing!

Sounds like Gray is really a smart one! Mine also meow and look towards where they want my attention. And my Noodle will for example run to the bed and then meow and look at you from there to get her point across. I love the sounds she uses, not an actual 'meow' but more often an 'urr' or 'arrr' or simple 'rrr!'
