New Litter Kwitter
Re: New Litter Kwitter
The concept isn't new, and many others have tried similar techniques, such as graduating to a "litter tray" seat acceptable to the cat.
I would think this would be more hassle than it's worth, since it is unlikely the cat could push the flush, and you'd have to clean and sanitize any litter/waste etc on a daily basis, just as you already do with a litterbox.

Re: New Litter Kwitter
yeah, I know the concept is not new...but the system seems different than I have seen before...
I have been using the Arm & Hammer flushable litter and am loving it...I have used it for about 3 months now in the bathroom and it is GREAT...
I did try a cheaper walmart brand taht said it was hard clumping, but as soon as I sifted, it fell through the scoop...grrrrr....so that did no good at all...I am back to the Arm & Hammer and will stay with it!!
We just have gotten into the habit that when a human goes to the bathroom, you scoop two poops, or clumps, into the toilet, wash hands first, since you have to let the litter sit in water for 30 seconds or more before flushing...
then every morning and every night, I sift through it completely...
