We were out for a drive last night & I noticed a kitten that had been hit by a car. There was nothing that could be done for him/her but I stopped to move him/her to the side of the road. Thats when I noticed these 2 precious little ones at the side of the road.

I scooped them up & put them into the truck with my wife. I looked aound to make sure there were no more. I knocked on a door & snooped around the houses in the area but it was pretty late. So we brought them home. Im sure someone dumped them off, they were clearly out of their element.
My wife named the one that didnt make it Angel & I had him/her cremated today . The other 2 are happy, healthy & so beautiful . I dont know how we are going to manage a total of 7 but these 2 are a real blessing. They are a boy & a girl. Were calling them 6 & 7 for the time being. Any name suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Re: Sad & Happy Story.
What a kind gesture, and what beautiful kittens. I would love to help w/the name, but it took me over 2 weeks to name my kittens. We just kept calling them "my kitty" or "your kitty."
Re: Sad & Happy Story.
They are soooo soft and cuddly looking...it is sad when something like that happens to them...makes me soooo mad that people are so insensitive and can do something like that...
They are lucky that you have found them anda re willing to give them a home...BTW....we have 8 adults and 2 kittens in the house right now, and 4 "regular" adults and 2 "regular" kittens outside (ferals) that we keep food out for...the outside adults will let us pet them, but the kittens still run, but not as far any more!
As for names...hhmmm...watch them and see what suits them...our Gypsy was named because she "Wandered" over here all the time from the neighbors feral herd! Gump because my (former) husband was watching him one day and said, "Stupid is as stupid does!" because of something he had done...Tiglet because she reminded me of my Tigger (and they look like your kittens!) Baby Roo because Tiglet became his surrogate mom...Skittles, because that is what she did at the time (also a feral kitten tamed), and her mom is called Snickers because of her tortuiseshell colouring...Callie, obviously for her calico colouring...Yoda because when he nursed at the bottle, his ears flopped up and down, independent of each other, and he grunted...Gremlin because of her huge ears, angular face and goatee on her chin...
Our dogs...well, they just seem to get names, but Blackfoot was named because all of his toes look like someone took a black marker and drew a line on each one...Oliver, just seemed to fit for our rescue beagle...and Taz, well, my son named him...Mysti was named for her smoky grey and white colouring...
I figure names are unique to the animal, and it takes us a few days to always name ours! Good luck with your new babies....they are adorable and oh so lucky to have found good parents
