Most of the surface water has gone down, leaving the ground with the consistancy of very soft putty. Especially where Prissy is walking. When they walk on that side of the yard, they come back in wearing thick boots of mud up to the first leg joint.
The other side of the yard is more solid and that is the side I prefer them to go to do what they have to do.
Here is Ginger looking around before heading out. I am urging her to go to the dryer side. She went the other way.
The Sky was a weird color last night just before the sun went down. I tried to take a picture to show it, but neither the flash and non-flash picture below really shows the color it gave to everything. The first picture was without the flash, and it slowed the shutter speed down so much that even the small movement from the wind and my hand as I breathed blurred the image.
The Flash washed out the color I was trying to capture. I need to check the photography book and camara book to see what I can do for such situations. Unfortunately, my little point and click does not allow for manual shutter speed adjustments. GRRRRR. ....
