And yet another rescue but this one closer to home, my neighbor's yard. This is Guinevere and her kittens. I was hoping to do a King Arthur theme but only the little orange kitten is a boy, the rest are girls. I'm open to suggestions on names for the girls. Right now they are just called "Kitten Black, Kitten Tuxedo & Kitten Tortie".
The vet estimated her age at 2 years old and the kittens around 5 weeks. For a feral cat she is unbelievably docile. Some say she felt my pain over losing Simba earlier last week and resigned to giving me full control to help her & her kittens out -- I say I just hit it darn lucky!
Oh they are so cute!! Guinevere looks a lot like our Khanada (see my post on this very page)
You could name the boy Merlin...then there is Morganna or Morgan le Fay (she is called Anna in Geoffry's version of the legend)...so you could name one girl Morgan and another one Fey. What other females are there in Arthur? Igraine was Arthur's mother.... *goes and grabs my Arthur encyclopedia* How about Avalon? There is Elaine, she is Arthur's half sister. Lyonesse (she was besieged by the Red Knight of the Red Lands..Gareth rescued her and she married him)..there is Nimue (or Viviane)...who according to Malory's account of the legend were objects of Merlin's infatuation.
Ok...I will quit now..it's not obvious that I have an keen liking of Arthurian Legend is it?

I was either going to go with Arthur or Lancelot for the boy but I do like Merlin. I may go with goddess names for the girls. Right now Guinevere is in emergency hospital care so once everything settles down I'll get serious about names.
