Unfortunately, I fully believe Mr. Blue will be interested in munching on them, so I was glad to get this warning! Of course, the last line mentions a company that sells products WITH cicadas for dogs, I guess following the old adage "A cicada a day keeps the allergy itchies away" :D Given this, I think there's a marketing opportunity here for someone - Kevin, I've found your get-rich-quick scheme :wink:

Naturally I am skeptical about the dangers they cite.

A: I have been through a few Cicada outbreaks over the years and never once had a dog get sick eating them.

B: It is normal for dogs to throw up indigestible items after eating them, bone being the most common material vomited out. (Maybe Davet can say why vomiting is not as distressful for dogs as it is for us.}
